Lesson 11: Tech 101 - talking with engineers

Why it matters: feasibility and effort. "Live tracking" sounds simple until you know it needs a driver app, GPS updates, and a maps service. Knowing this stops you from promising it in a week.

How to work with engineers: explain the WHY behind every requirement. Engineers solve problems better than they follow instructions. Ask "what is hard here?" and actually listen to the answer - their estimate is data, not negotiation.

Key point: your QA background is gold here. You already speak bug, build, and regression. That is more tech credibility than most new PMs have.
